BTS stepped on the Magenta Carpet at the Billboard Music Awards on 21st May and sparked a social media frenzy. The boys were trending on twitter even before taking home the Top Social Artist Award. However, there was one member who stood out the most.
BTS’ visual, Jin, unknowingly, became a top search engine result with countless people curious about ‘the third one from the left.’
Interestingly, this is not the first time Jin has triggered a social media issue. In 2015, he went viral as the ‘Car Door Guy’ at the Melon Music Awards.
At a press conference, held back home in honour of their win at the BBMAs, Jin commented that the trend made him realize that, “Even outside Korea, everyone’s beauty standard is quite similar.” With that he gave himself the title of ‘Worldwide Handsome’.
